Thaveeporn Vasavakul, Lead Specialist, received a Ph.D in Government from Cornell University’s Department of Government and a post-doctoral research fellowship in the Department of Political and Social Change, Australian National University, from 1994 to 1997. A Southeast Asia specialist, she has worked in the area of state institution-building with an emphasis on public administration and public service delivery reform, state-civil society relations, anti-corruption, and political culture. She has experience designing and evaluating results-based reform and development programs and projects. GoSFI forms work teams that consist of international and local subject matter experts and practitioners working virtually and on-site. GoSFI advocates a participatory working method and thus involves both relevant stakeholders and direct project beneficiaries. GoSFI regards national- and local level practitioners as resources, along with direct stakeholders and beneficiaries as resource and involves them in experience-sharing activities.
